The Rameshwar Mahadev temple is near Ramgaya Ghat in the Shivpur area of Vindhyachal. Here Lord Shri Ram had established Shivling in Treta Yuga.

Shivling is about 2 feet high and 7 feet in circumference. A huge fair is held here in Shivratri.
